Of course RP is pretty good on its own but the R body just handles a bit better and the EVF is leaps and bounds better. I own the M6 mk 1, RP and R and in my opinion R is worth it as a ugrade from them both.
Is the RP a step forward from the M5 and is the R a big step forward from both. It's also bigger than the RP from what I can see. Yes, I know the R is better in some way BUT is it THAT MUCH better than the RP to justify a 350/400 euro more cost? I'm talking about prices in Italy. I say keep your cameras and then get the RP if you like. Thanks for who is willing to help me make a decision. Is the RP still aviable option? The R6 is too expensive for my needs and the R.well I don't know because I read mixed feelings about the R. Yes I could keep using my Sony for these events but have had some autofocus issues with some lens son I thought a anon body would be the right way to go not having to buy new lens.
My question is: would the RP be a worthy upgrade (shooting events - not paid - even in low light like night parties or similar) or is there something that will not cost me a kidney that is a good upgrade? That is due to the fact that I own Canon lenses and want a mofre advanced body than the M5 or M100.
My thought is to trade in the two Canon M cameras and get a RP or something like that, in any case a ame camera. I also own a Canon M100 and M5 with native M lenses. I own a Sony A7RII that I use with adapted lenses, most of which are Canon EF lens. I would like your advice because I'm very confised on what to do.
